Doing nothing about your financial situation will not make it better. You must be intentional about making things right.
I have been down physically for many days in the last few weeks due to flu and other stuff that I couldn’t do anything and i even ended growing a beard in the process! God is good i’m well again. Now, however, that i’m back up i found that things that I needed to do (and have not automated) were still there waiting for me.
I couldn’t do much about the situation above but i still had cash flowing in the right direction. So what if i have, through laziness, busyness or neglect, allowed my personal financial responsibiliteis to pile up and then got sick?
Your bills will show up every month whether you want them to or not. Filing them away to deal th them later will not make them go away and this can lead you to forget their due dates. If this happens you will end up paying late charges.
If you have cash-flow problems, don’t ignore it. Act now. Don’t bury your head in the sand!
Ignoring your cash-flow problems or debts won’t make them go away. If you bury your head in the sand, sooner rather than later something (or someone) will come along and give you a big reality kick in the backside and it’s going to hurt because you won’t see it coming. That kick could come from a creditor that you have not contacted to work out an arrangement for payment of an outstanding debt; or possibly from a bank with a notification of a pending repossession of your house.
You need to face the facts that you have a problem and then set for yourself steps to resolving it. Problems that are ignored, usually transform themselves into bigger problems a short while down the line. So today is the day that you need to start looking at ways to solve your debts problems.
Instead of burying your head in the sand, do what Proverbs 27:23 proposes “Be sure you know the condition of your flocks, give careful attention to your herds..”. It is your duty to know how much you have, how much you owe, how much you earn, what plans do you have in place to pays-off all you owe.Niyi Adeoshun
