There are things in this life that you might never think you can accomplish until you convince yourself that it is possible. Becoming debt free is one of them.
As an African, a Christian and a Church Musician, I have attended a lot of wedding ceremonies and I have been used to them lasting for two hours or more. Last Saturday, however, I attended a wedding at the St. Peter and Paul’s Church, Vilnius in Lithuania which lasted exactly 25 minutes!
For someone who has been used to wedding ceremonies in which the bridal-train alone could take 10 minutes to waltz into the church (that is if the bride herself hasn’t been one hour late already); the one-hour sermon and the 30 minutes of offering and thanksgiving …. you get the picture …., this short but effective service was a shock to my system. But now that I know that the necessary parts of the wedding service can be completed in 25 minutes, it is about time we gave the long wedding ceremonies a rethink. Just saying!
Many people find it difficult to attempt being debt free because they haven’t yet believed that it is possible for them; but I tell you that If anyone has succeeded in becoming debt free, then it is possible and you too can do the same. You just need to WANT it bad enough to attempt it.
