A Chinese proverb says “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.” I am not into dendrology, so I will stick to what I know and my question is “where will you be, financially, in 5 years or 10 years from today?” Do you have an idea,? … a written-down goal? … a plan to achieve that goal? … and within the stipulated timeframe?
Congratulations to you if you have given positive answers to the above questions.
If not, then today is the best day for you to step back, take a good look at your finances and begin planning for how you can become financially-free very soon; so you can achieve those things that God have brought you into this world for.
Please don’t say ‘It is difficult’ because it is not; you just need to give your finances the time and attention it requires. Give financial education a higher priority than it used to have and in no time at all, you will begin seeing the change it will make for you and the achievement of your financial freedom.
Dream big. You should ask yourself “If money were no object, what would I like to be, to do and to have?” When you know those things, aim for them.
One more thing, don’t put it off until tomorrow – again! Or you will be singing this same song of no-time-no-money in 5 years’ time.
