First I’d like to wish you a wonderful, healthy and very prosperous year 2018. I pray you will move faster towards your Financial Freedom this year than you’ve ever done before in Jesus’ Name – Amen.
John C. Maxwell gave the following African Parable in his book ‘Failing Forward‘ which depicts making decisions early and sticking to them in order to survive or succeed:
“Every morning in Africa, when a gazelle wakes up, it knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning when a lion wakes up, it knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve to death.
It doesn’t matter whether you are a lion or gazelle when the sun comes up you had better be running.”
My Pastor, Richard Jama once said that “Life is made up of decisions”. Financial decisions are made every day by most of us; some consciously, others by default because ‘indecision is a decision in itself’.
Already for this new year, the financial institutions would have decided how they are going to make as much profit as possible from their clients (or cash cows) by changing the names of their products, forms, rates etc. We too should decide to get out of the ‘slavery’ of debt by setting realistic goals that will get us closer to our financial freedom by the time this year ends.
If you don’t hate debt, you won’t be pushed to do anything about it and that inactivity is a decision on its own. Decide wisely
Happy New Year,
