“If not us, then who? If not now, then when?” ― John Lewis
Over the weekend, I watched the video below on YouTube. “It’s Time” was a song performed by The Winans over two decades ago but its message is still true and relevant today. The song says “It’s time, time to make a change, we are the people who can do it.”
When it comes to finances, if you want a change (unbelievably not everyone does), it is you who will bring the change about. The change will not come unless you DESIRE it. The desire of our hearts is what God has promised to give us. If you want to be debt-free, request of Him – as if you really mean it! Then do your own part by not going further into debt.
Just in case you’ve forgotten, we are close to the end of June; half of the year is almost gone but there’s always time to set new goals for your life. Go back and pick up all those financial resolutions you made in January and begin again.
Now is that time to make that change. Or as the Winans have said it “It’s Time”.Niyi Adeoshun
