A UK newspaper reported that Britons throw away £8 billion worth of food every year. That is one third of everything bought in the shops. It is enough to fill the London’s Wembley Stadium eight times over! Most of the 6.7 tonnes of food could have been eaten, yet end up on landfill sites.
Imagine this, if the average family spends £240 on groceries per month and wastes one third as in the statistics above, this family will be throwing away almost £1000 a year (£960 to be precise). This amount could easily be used towards their Financial Freedom!
Check for the money leaks in your family finances and deal with them. Successfully doing this alone would surely make an impact on your finances. You’ll feel as if you’ve got a raise. Do it now!Niyi Adeoshun
