I know that eating sandwiches for lunch on workdays has become part of our cultural heritage in Britain but did you know that you can save a small fortune with only five minutes’ planning? That’s about the time it takes to make a sandwich.
Research has shown that we spend an average of £4.40 on lunch each working day which adds up to £1, 050 a year. Thus workers shell out £42,000 on sandwiches and snacks in their lifetime.
Now, think of what you can do with an extra £1000 every year! Wow!! No wonder they say “there’s no such thing as free lunch”.
The Bible says “He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.” Think about that at lunch today.
